Blackberry Curve 9360 Review

Blackberry curve 9360A heavy contender in the smartphone market, the Blackberry Curve 9360 is the newest addition to the Curve family as well as the first to use the Blackberry OS 7 in the Curve series. Also known as the Apollo, it has a slim design and light in weight, with a dimension of 19 x 61 x 11 mm and weight of 99 grams. Furthermore, the phone has a more striking appeal as it features 16-million color TFT display that measures 2.44 inches.
The Blackberry Curve 9360 is stylish, sleek, user-friendly and smartly connected, perfect for those with active social life. It also features a secure messaging platform using a full QWERTY keypad plus track pad to navigate. The Blackberry OS 7 technology provides enhanced browsing, improved scrolling and powerful graphics.
Users can get instantaneous social alerts that can help keep in touch with family and friend. Even more, the one-click feature makes sharing images and getting updates from podcasts, social feeds and blogs faster and simpler.
Apollo is cleverly connected – users can easily connect with the NFC (Near Field Communication). Just connect the device to any other device that are equipped with NFC to exchange information quickly.
In addition, the camera features 5 megapixels with a screen resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels. It is also equipped with Geo-tagging, face detection and LED flash.
The only drawback with this device is that it only has an 800MHz processor while other similar gadgets were already beefed up with 1.2GHz. Because of this, expect signs of tardiness. While the browser appears much better, it can be painfully slow. Images often take a little time to display, loading up websites can make the cursor on screen freeze and in general, there’s apparent sluggishness, even over the Wi-Fi. While not a huge deal for most people, the Blackberry Curve 9360 lacks HD video recording and autofocus feature on the camera.

Deals are available for both contract and pay as you go.  SIM free users have the benefit of choosing the operator of their choice.
